If your country of residence appears in the list* below, you will not need a visa to enter Colombia. However, upon arrival you will need to present the university's invitation letter and request a Temporary Visiting Entry Permit. Before leaving the immigration counter at the airport, please make sure that you have the following information in your passport:
If, on the other hand, you do need a visa to enter the country, you will have to apply for it in the Colombian consulate in your country of residence using the university's invitation letter.
Remember that upon entering the country, you will have to present the university's invitation letter to D.A.S. in order to inform them of the purpose of your visit.
At the university, you will have to hand in a copy of your passport and a copy of the visa and/or of the entry permit. Please note that according to Colombian law we will not be able to enroll you on the course if you enter the country on a Tourist Visa.
